Organize your lot. Keep spaces clear.

A starting guide for operators preparing parking or storage spaces, tenant assignments, and everyday lot handoffs.

BEFORE YOU START

Have these ready.

  • Your operator administrator has provided access and the correct sign-in address.
  • Your lot layout, space identifiers, tenant details, and the terms approved for each assignment.
STEP BY STEP

Work through the basics.

  1. Confirm the correct property

Use your operator-provided sign-in address and check the property or organization before reviewing tenant information.

  2. Prepare the space layout

Gather your space numbers, usable areas, and access constraints. When using a layout proposal, review it against the real property before accepting assignments.

  3. Check the tenant and stored unit

Confirm the tenant contact, truck, trailer, RV, or other unit, and the space requirements. Verify identifying details before assigning a space.

  4. Review the assignment

Confirm the space, dates, approved terms, and any gate or site instructions. Share access details through your operation’s authorized channel.

  5. Maintain the daily handoff

Keep moves, departures, availability, and account follow-up current through your operator’s workflow. Check source records before changing an occupied space or payment status.

In a real workday

A tenant replaces a trailer: verify the new unit, confirm that the assigned space still fits, and update the operator’s records before providing revised site instructions.

IF SOMETHING IS OFF

Check this first.

  • An occupied space looks available? Check the current assignment and actual lot before assigning it again.
  • An account or payment looks wrong? Verify the tenant and property, then use the issued billing record rather than creating a duplicate account.

Common questions.

Can Parking Wizard manage trucks, trailers, and RVs?

Parking Wizard is intended for parking and storage operators handling these types of spaces. Confirm the supported configuration for your property with your account team.

Does a proposed layout confirm real-world capacity?

No. Review any proposed layout for boundaries, access, turning room, and actual conditions before approving or using it.

Where do I get gate instructions or billing help?

Your property operator owns access instructions and tenant billing. Contact that operator using the details they provided; Cardinal’s website handles software support and product discovery.
